My name is Harman and one of the things I really took to when I was taking prerequisites for my eventual major - Geography: Data
Science - was coding. Within my major, the classes that really stood out to me were the ones where we worked with Python and R to visualize data, as well as
a machine learning course that finished out my time in school. For my electives, I took further coding classes - being able to expand on my knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
Following college, I've taken more time to develop my coding skills and apply them to my personal life. This includes developing
a tool to analyze the well-roundedness of an NBA player's counting stats to help myself in a fantasy basketball league I was in at the time. Or developing a bot that interacted
with viewers in my friends Twitch chat, after noticing that they would always request links to the game he was playing but have trouble finding one oftentimes.
